The Australian and Overseas Travel Service has organised a farmers and graziers’ party to visit Great Britain and the Continent in March, 1939. 'Die itinerary will be very comprehensive. It will provide a tour of places of general scenic and historical interest, but it will also include places and features cf special interest to primary producers. The principal Shows in Great Britain will be visited—opportunities will be given for inspecting various types of cattle—visits will be paid to agricultural institutions and farms, and a special visit will be paid to the Dublin Horse Show. The tour will, in effect, be full of interest both from' the tourist’s and primary producer’s points of view. It will combine a delightful holiday tour with essential farming, etc., interests. The primary producers from New Zealand are invited to join this party. Although actually organised in Victoria, it is by no means intended that Victorians only shall take advantage of the tour. The itinerary will include a motor tour of 28 days in Great Britain and a comprehensive tour of France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium* Holland and Denmark. In addition to this, members of the party will make a special trip of one week to Ireland, and will visit the usual places of interest, and especially the Dublin Horse Show. On application to Henderson & Macfarlane, Ltd., Travel Agents, Auckland, they' will be pleased to supply full details and costs of this delightful and instructive tour. 114
