Russell Geranium Club
The ninth annual general meeting of the Geranium Club was held in Brooker’s Hall, Russell, on Thursday evening, there being a good attendance of members. The club, organised for mutual entertainment will commence this season's activities with a Lexicon evening on July 26, when Miss M. King and Mr R. Baker will acf as hostess and host. The following officers were elected: —President, Miss M. King (re-elect-ed) ; vice-presidents, Mrs H. Fowler and Mr B. Williams (re-elected); committee: Mesdames H.' Vipond, C. Campi, F. Englehardt, Misses E. Beasley and M. Shadlock; secretary, Mr F. Englehardt; auditor, Mr G. Hewin. The committee decided to donate two prizes for the season, a points prize and one for attendance.
