University Women’s Club
A meeting of the Whangarei University Women’s Club was hold on July 13 at the home of Mrs Morn's, Aubrey Street, when an account was given by Mrs Graham of her recent trip to America, England and Europe. Mrs Graham chose the lesser-known aspects of the countries she visited, and described them very vividly, so providing an interesting and enjoyable evening. Those present were Mesdames Graham, Morris, Blanshard, Smith, Misses Bain, Cathie, Scarfe, Goodjohn, Henderson, French, Woodhead, Lawes, Milne, Clark, Nicholson, Cairns, Hall and Kidson.
