Precautions In Fog
Motorists are urged to take every precaution at this time of the year, when fogs are likely to be encountered. If visibility is limited to only a few yards, they should travel at little more than a walking-pace, and follow the extreme left-hand edge of the road. j The brightest of headlamps are useless in penetrating fog, as the moisture reflects the light back into the driver’s eyes. The best results are obtained by covering the lights witli a layer of yellow silk or some other transparent yellow material.
