Personals Mi’ and Mrs R. Watson and infant daughter, of Whangarci, are spending a few days in Hikurangi as the guests of Mr and Mrs J, Baxter, George Street. On Friday last. Mr Norman Ritson returned home after a holiday in the south. The guest of Miss Ruth Smith, Miss Joyce Allen, Onehunga, is enjoying a short stay in Hikurangi. Miss Peggy Jacentho, of Peria, is the guest of Miss B. Smith. George Street. At the week-end, Mr A. Crozier was the guest of his parents at Waro.
As the result of a football accident on Saturday last. Mr J. Tomlinson is confined to his home. Ho is making satisfactory progress. Mr Mat Kennedy has returned to Hikurangi. Mr A. McDowell is spending a few days with his sister. Mrs Phil. Goodhew, before leaving for an extended tour of Australia. The wet weather did not-* have much effect on the community singing last night, a good crowd attending. The children's choir again entertained with a couple of good numbers.
