New Dairy Instructor Appointed
The distinct possibility of his present district being subdivided in the near future, and of his own transfer from this area being effected, was mentioned by Mr M. W. Porter, dairy instructor to the Maungatapere Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd., at the company’s annual meeting of suppliers yesterday. Mr Porter said that already 37 new appointments had been made in the ranks of dairy instructors in New Zealand and it was quite likely that one of these would come to this part of the North,
In view of the possibility of his leaving the district the meeting passed a hearty vote of appreciation of the efficient and helpful service Mr Porter had rendered the industry during his several years of work in the district.
