Water Supply For Mangonui
Estimates for bringing water direct to Mangonui from a larger catchment area and also for a reservoir storage tank arc to be made by the engineer of the Mangonui County Council, Mr W, R. Tome. At Wednesday's meeting of the council, a letter was received from the Mangonui Civic League requesting that separate estimates should be prepared for each scheme. “The civic league is still endeavouring to provide a water supply for the town," declared Cr. D. J. McKay. The engineer was instructed to prepare the necessary estimates.
