Big Gift To Anglican Cathedral Fund
[Special to “Northern Advocate.”] WELLINGTON, This Day. As a contribution to the Centenary Appeal Fund, a cheque for £IOO has been received by Bishop Holland, of Wellington, accompanied by a letter from the donors, an elderly man and his wife, who desire to remain anonymous. The letter stated that the estate of the man and wife concerned exceeded £20,000 in value, and would be available for the fund upon their death. “As we are both over 80 years of age, the money will be available in plenty of time for tire new cathedral.
