YyfITH a request that action should be taken to establish a regular shipping service between Melbourne, Bluff and Wellington, a deputation representing many southern interests waited on the Prime Minister, Mr. Savage, and other Ministers yesterday morning. After hearing speakers from Invercargill Dunedin. Christchurch and Wellington, Mr. Savage said he was convinced that the South Island must be fully developed and promised to start an immediate investigation into the possibilities of establishing a suitable sei-Vice.
