The former is a rollicking musical comedy starring the inimitable Charlie Ruggles and Eleanore Whitney. A detective who follows Eleanore Whitney, a hungry dancer who steals a doughnut in the department store run by the star-gazing Charlie Ruggles. is the theme of the romance. The detective’s chase assumes an added responsibility when his boss’s romance depends on the happy conclusion of the youngsters 1 amorous interlude. Ruggles, the police department, 1 lie lire department. a store show and enough side-splitting complications see the royal road to romance set for speedy travel. The second attraction. “The Lady in the Morgue.” is a fascinating mystery drama. This crime club thriller is one of the most baffling ever screened, and will send a shiver up the spine of all patrons. Stars in the picture are Patricia Ellis, Frank Jenks, Barbara Popper. Thomias Jackson, and Rollow Lloyd. The usual first-class Plaza supports complete a most satisfactory programme.
