'Received 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE. July 17. The New Zealand-bred gelding. Silver Bond, was successful in the Kambrook Trial at Caulfield on Saturday. Whernside ran unplaced in the Leamington Hurdles, and International in the Nurrumbeena Handicap. Results: Cambrook Trial (second division), of 500 sovs; one mile. —Silver Bond. 8.7, 1; Carraricc, 7.11, 2; Karoo, 7.1, 3. Seventeen stated. A neck: two lengths. Time —1.394.
