Mrs E. R. Groome
OBITUARY
\ Special to “Northern Advocate.”! DARGAVILLE, This Day. At the age of 77, the death has occurred, at Kaipara. of Mrs Florence Mary Groome. Born at Bradford, Mrs Groome came to New Zealand in 1892. She was appointed teacher at the native school at Port Awanui, on the East Coast, one of her first pupils being Sir Apirana Ngata. She married the late Mr E. R. Groome, and came to the Northern Wairoa in 1919. She is survived by two sons and one daughter* ! 'lill'll
