Gift Evening At Waiotira
One of the most enjoyable evenings hold in the Waiotira Hall for a long lime was the gift; evening organised last Saturday in honour of Miss M. Vaile. who is shortly to be married. The hall was packed with friends from far and near, and a most enjoyable time was spent. Mr N. Sloane was M.C. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr and Mrs J. Thomas: Miss Vaile entered the hall wearing a beautiful dress of apple-green silk pique. She was accompanied by her future husband. Mr M. Berridge. Among those present were: Mesdames F. Jones, E.
