New York Aspirations
(Received 8.30 a.m.) * LONDON, July 14. A message from New York states that Mr Grover Whalen, president of the New York World's Fair Corporation, made an unofficial- bid for the Olympic Games by a statement that he would be glad to arrange their conduct in conjunction with the Fair, but it was generally conceded that it would not be successful.
