MAMMOTH PLANE UNDERGOES TRIALS.-The mammoth new Boeing Clipper photographed on the waters of Puget Sound, Washington. U.S.A, where it underwent its trials. The clipper is the first of a fleet of six being constructed by the Boeing Aircraft Company for use by Pan-American Airways on the Atlantic and Pacific services at a cost of £1,000,000. It is expected to he used in the New Zealand service when this is resumed.
