Compulsory Stop At Victoria Quay
A compulsory stop sign has been erected at the corner of Quay Street and James Street by borough traffic officers. Since the erection of the new bridge spanning the Hatea River, six accidents have occurred at this point, and in future it will be obligatory for all traffic approaching from Walton Street towards James Street to bring their vehicles to a halt.
