The death has occurred of Mr Frank Glarke, M.P. (Con. —Dartford).
Regret at the death of the late Mr. J. R. S. Richardson, who acted as an official for many years, is expressed by the president of the Whangarei Racing Club, Mr. R. G. Hosking, in his report to be presented to the annual meeting of the club on Wednesday July 27. Regret is also expressed at the passing of the late Mr. Norman Finlayson, a member and keen supporter of the club. Dr. G. Walker, who is in Auckland receiving treatment for a fractured leg, is reported to be progressing satisfactorily. and is expected back in Whangarei in about three weks’ time.
