Leader of the Opposition, when addressing a public meeting in the Town Hall on Saturday night. “It is the deliberate policy of the Labour Government to make all industries incapable cf paying interest." he continued. "They want industry to be able to pay only wages. I believe it is the policy of Labour to make businesses unprofitable, so that, the Government can then purchase them at v. low price. The first step is to make il difficult tor business men to carry on and then come in and buy them out. a step which is being taken throughout the country ”
