The former New Zealand-owned colt, Highborn, scored another success yesterday, when he won the Homestead Handicap, of one and a-quarter miles, at the Warwick Farm races. The New Zealand-bred gelding. Country Party, finished fourth. Publicity (.Heroic-Ridicule) ran second in tire Welter Handicap, in which Kinfolk (Posterity-Episode) was unplaced. The George's River Handicap, seven furlongs, was won by the good sprinter Mohican. Details;— Homestead Handicap, of 250 sovs.; 1.1 miles. —Highborn, 8.9. 1; Bachelor King, 7.5, 2; Electron, 8.11, 3. Six started. Half a length; three lengths. Time: 2.6.1. Warwick Farm Amateur Cup, of 130 sovs., and cup valued at £SO; amateur riders; six furlongs.—Nebraska. 10.6. 1; Judicial, 10.2. 2; Tarban, 11.11. 3. Fifteen started. Half a length; two lengths.
