(Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, June 11. America won the Wighlman Cup contest by five matches to two, thus retaining the trophy. Results were as follows: ( Singles.—Mrs Fabyan (U.S.A.) defeated Miss Lumb (England) 5—7, 6—2. 6—3. Mrs Wills-Moody (U.S.A.) defeated Miss Stammers (England), 6 —2, 3—6, 6—3. Miss Marble (U.S.A.) defeated Miss Scriven (England), 6—3, 3—6, 6—o. Miss Stammers defeated Miss Marble, 3—6, 7 —5, 6—3. Mrs Wills-Moody defeated Miss Scriven, 6—o, 7—5. Doubles.—Miss Marble and Mrs Fabyan defeated Misses James and Lumb, 6—4, 6 —2. Misses Dearman and Ingram defeated Mrs Wills-Moody and Miss Bimdy, 6 —2, 7 —5.
