ONERAHI AERODROME STARTED TODAY
Two days before the expiry of financial provision made on the last estimates for the purpose, work has commenced on the construction oi an aerodrome to serve the Whangarei district. Today a small party undertook preliminary reading on the site at Onerahi. Later they will be supplemented by modern plant. Unforeseen contingencies, not associated with the financing of the work or the operation of the Whangarei Airport Bill recently passed, have delayed operations to some extent.
