Empire Exhibition Broadcast
(Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON. March 28. The British Broadcasting Corporation will broadcast throughout the Empire a meeting to be held in Westminster Hall on April 7. at which Mr Neville Chamberlain will make a speech in connection with the Empire Exhibition at Glasgow. The broadcast will begin at 4.35 p.m. Greenwich mean time (4.35 a.m. April 8, New Zealand time) with a description of the scheme and will be followed by speeches by Lord Elgin (chairman), the Prime Minis•ter, Mr C. R, Attlee, Leader of the Opposition, and a representative of the Liberal Party, not yet chosen.
