Empire Producers’ Conference
(Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 28. Empire development and co-oper-ation were the keynote of speeches at the Empire Producers’ Conference, which was opened today by the Governor of New South Wales, Lord Wakehurst. Delegates from England, Wales, Scotland, Canada, Rhodesia, New Zealand and Australian organisations attended. Speakers in support of a vote of thanks to His Excellency included Mr W. W. Mulholland. president of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, and Mr A. J. Murdoch, chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Board.
