Miss Doris Boswell. of King Street, left on Monday for a fortnight's holiday to be spent in Auckland and Hamilton.
Mr R, McKinlay has returned after a tour of the North Island, extending over a month. Constable T. Jones is back at the Auckland Central Station after visiting his mother at Hikurangi. Miss J. Cairns, of Auckland, is visiting her parents, Mountain Road. Mrs J. Sparks is moving from the homo in Upper King Street to premises previously occupied by Miss Vescy, where she will shortly open a shoe store.
' After touring New Zealand, Captain J. J. Darlington left Hikurangi, where he had been the "guest of his brother, Mr George Darlington, on Saturday and sailed for his home at Honululu by the Monterey on Monday. Mr and Mrs J. Liggett have returned to Dargaville after a short visit to Hikurangi, where Mrs Liggetfs mother, Mrs M. Lauder, is remaining for a few days. Mr N. MacDonald spent the weekend with his parents in Auckland.
