Fall Of Spoil Injures Metal-Pit Worker
[Special To “Northern Advocate”] NAPIER, This Day.
A fall of several tons of metal and clay in the metal pit where he was working inflicted serious injuries on Douglas Norman, aged 20. Mr. Norman was fortunate not to be struck by the full force of the fall, but he suffered painful injuries by being struck on the back of the neck by large lumps of hard clay.
