Motor-Cyclist Hits Car: Killed
[Per Press Association. Copyright.] WELLINGTON. This Day. Fatal injuries were received by Mr Edward Morris, aged about 40, married, a tramway motorman, of Wellington, as the result of a collision between the motor-cycle he was riding and a heavy sedan car on Thorndon Quay late last night. The motor-cycle was carried across the road and on to the footpath, the car going through a fence. The car had to be jacked up before Mr Morris could be extricated. He received head injuries and died before he could be taken to the hospital.
