ANOTHER BLOW-UP IN AUCKLAND FIRE
' f Special To ‘’Northern Advocate”'] AUCKLAND, This Day. A minor explosion followed an outbreak of fire in the premises of Messrs. Marshall and Baxter, Ltd., High Street, at about 5.30 last evening. A thick plateglass window was shattered, the glass bursting across the pavement, striking the back of a motor car and narrowly missing a man and two young women who were passing. A dense cloud of dark smoke followed the breaking of the window. Four fire engines answered the alarm, and little difficulty was experienced in .suppressing the outbreak. Stock valued at £BOOO stored on the premises, but little damage resulted from the fire.
