Commander O. Lo jker-Lampson, M.P. (Conservative, Handsworth) telegraphed King Carol, stating: “As leader of the only Britisa unit in Rumania dining the War I respectfully protest against, the treatment of minorities-. M. Goga is making it difficult for Englishmen to wear Rumanian medals.
“Loyal supporters of your Majesty expect you to restore the liberties for which the British and Rumanian armies successfully combated.’’
