Magnificent Welcome Awaits Royal Bride
(Received 10 a.m.) ATHENS, January 6. A magnificent welcome awaits Princess Frederika, who is expected to arrive this afternoon by special train for her marriage to Crown Prince Paul. The Princess had a triumphal journey from the Greek frontier to Thessalonika, on her way to Athens. There were scenes of enthusiasm at all towns and villages. Most of the Royal guests arrived yesterday and were received by King George. The presents include an emerald and a diamond necklace valued at £4,000 from the civil servants at Athens, a silver table set for 60 persons, made in England, from the Mayor of Athens, and a yacht from the Royal Yacht Club of Greece.
