Jews Concerned
'Received 10 a.m.) LONDON. January 1
A message from. Geneva says representatives of the world Jewish Congress have addressed protests to the British, French and United States Governments and the League of Nations calling attention to the “antiSemitic measures” which, it is stated, are contemplated in Rumania. They add that, such measures are a violation of the minorities treaty. Other despatches state that M. Goga intends, it is understood, to confiscate
the lands of Jews and cancel Jewish licenses to sell tobacco and alcohol, also to forbid them to become merchants in villages. The expulsion of many immigrants is expected.
