CAROL BREAKS WITH MME. LUPESCU?
(Received 10 a.rn.) LONDON, January 1. A message from Vienna says that, according to diplomatic circles in Bucharest. M. Gcga informed Ivlmo. Lupescu Dial if would be bettor if she left Rumania. She is reported to have disappeared. According to the "Daily Mail’s" Vienna correspondent. King Carol luu finally broken with Mine. Lupereu, who has left Rumania and will not return. A message from Bucharest says that M. Goga. in a broadcast address, announced that Parliament would be dissolved. Ho did not indicate the dale of the fresh elections. c He said he intended to act prudent” ly. but promptly. Titulescu Elected. A recount of the votes showed the former Foreign Minister. M. Titulescu, at present ifi exile in Switzerland, to have been elected. M. Gcga said that he was telegraphing the Prime Minister of Britain. The Bourse has closed until January 10. owing to heavy falls in all securities, due not only to a rush by Jews to realise their assets, but also to the fears of non-Jews of anticapitalist measures.
