Posthumus Reward For Mr M. W. J. Bourchier
(Received 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, January 2
The posthumus honour of Knight Bachelor has been bestowed upon the late Mr Murray William James Bourchier, who, at the time of his death recently, was Agent-General for Victoria in London. Mrs Bourchier, accordingly, has .been granted the style, titled place and precedence to which she would be entitled had her husband lived.
Mr Bourchier was informed of the intention to honour him a few hours before his death.
