Cat Burglars’ £50,000 Jewellery Haul

While guests, including many wealthy and well-known society people, were in the drawing room after dinner on Christmas Eve. cat burglars climbed into the first floor bedrooms of the lonely mansion near Luton of Sir Felix Cassel, K.C.
They escaped with .jewellery worth between £30,000 and £50,000. The guests are not sure how much jewellery they had with them.
