Cyclist injured. Mr Matthew Watene. of Otaika. fell from his bicycle at 4.30 on Friday afternoon and fractured his left collarbone. He was admitted to hospital on Saturday morning and is making good progress. Broke Telephone Insulators. Five children, two groups from different localities, appeared before Mr G. N. Morris, S.M.. at the Whangarei Children’s Court today, to face charges of committing mischief by breaking telephone insulators. December 2, at 8 p.m. The ladies’ branch in Whangarei will meet at the Town Hall supper room at 2.30 tomorrow afternoon instead of 7.30, as previously advertised. Three Mile Bush v. Spingfield. Charges of fighting in a public place the Otakairangi Road against Thomas Ramsay and Robert Forsyth Dwyer, were adjourned at the Whangarei Police Court today. Mr E. A. Harrison said that his client, Dwyer, was still in a bad state of health, and was prevented by his medical adviser from attending the Court at present.
