Amateur Boxing Champion Loses Leg
[Special To “Northern Advocate .”] TE AROHA, This Day. A motor car, driven by Mr. A. Cheffings, and a motor cycle ridden by Mr. Charles Farmer, the well-known amateur champion boxer, met in a violent collision at Manawaru last evening. Mr. Farmer was thrown heavily to the road and suffered serious injury. He was immediately taken to the Waikato Hospital, where a leg was amputated.
