One of the largest crowds that has attended the Friday night'dances in Mangonui, was seen last week. The dance, which was in aid of the Grace Cup funds, was financially a great success. Voluntary music was supplied by Mrs H. H. Smith, Miss M. Wrathall and Mr E. Harris (piano), Messrs. J. Smith and W. Garton (violin) and Mr K. Ashdown (accordion). Mr R'. Dibble was in charge of the floor arrangements. The Monte Carlo waltz went to Miss F, Forsythe and Mr N. Jacentho, while a cake competition was won by Mr M. Gallagher. A buffet supper was served during the evening.
