The Vatican newspaper, “Osservatore Rcmano,” protests against the attitude of the Italian press towards the Pope’s encyclical of Sunday, last, accusing the Nazis of breaking, the 1933 Concordat ; . ' - '• :• - ■ .It points out that most Italian newspapers publish brief and inexact official agency summaries, “which almost seems to distort the Pope’s thought.” ■; ••• . The paper adds that the same newspapers devoted more space to- an amazing article in the “Volkaisater i Beobachter,” Herr Hitler’s official paper, published in Munich. i
