THE REGENT. Picture-goers to the Regent last night were introduced to a new type of detective agency—that of the American Postal Bureau.' Tracy, as one of the most daring agents in the post office service, a dynamic smoothtongued operator with the sometimes confusing, sometimes helpful,-co-opera-tion of the lovely Gloria Stuart, is dispatched to capture, dead or alive, Phil Crawley, chief of a gang of desperadoes.

Trailing the culprits from, coast to I coast, Tracy and his lovely aid, encounter danger at every turn, event- j ually facing the killer in a pulse-

quickening duel. The story is always exciting, with a laugh or two thrown in. ■ ■ y’ Also on the same programme Js “Doubting Thomas,” one of the late Will Rogers’ best efforts. It is a subtle satire on amateur theatricals, containing a running fire of witty dialogue and cunning comedy situations that afford Will Rogers excellent scope for his inimitable style of entertaining. ’
