Waldon Johnson, of Mount Eden Club, was the winner, his time being 24m 36 2-ss. Gordon Usher, of Devonport, was the only other competitor, and his time was 26m 7s. The New Zealand record of 22m 57 4-5 s for the distance is held by G. P. Lindsay.
