Keen Competition at Kamo Horse Fair

Keen competition, particularly for good farm sorts, was a feature of the Kamo horse fair conducted yesterday by the North Auckland Farmers’ Coop., Ltd. A large entry came before a good attendance of buyers and a good clearance was effected at very satisfactory prices. Heavy draughts made £4O to £45; good medium draught mares, £33 to £46; medium draught geldings, £25 to £36 10/; lighter sorts, £ls to £26; aged draughts, £7 10/ to £l4; good hacks, £l6; others, £2 to £9 10/.
