Arrowmid Gets Three Places At Westport

[Per Press Association. — Copyright .] WESTPORT, This Day. The Westport Jockey Club’s annual meeting was concluded today in fine „wqather. The course was in good order and the fields much better than on Saturday. The totalisator invest-* ments were £4,626 10/-, compared with £4,664 10/- last year. The total for the meeting was £9,566 10/-, compared with £8,903 10/-, an increase of £663. * Arrowmid started in three, races, for two seconds and a third. Results: — Westport Cup, of 145 sovs, and cup valued at £2O; one mile and a quarter. —(2) Cyclonic, 8.11, 1; (1) Golden Dart, 9.1, 2; (3) Carfex, 7.9,'3. Four started. Two lengths; a length. Time—-2.10 2-5. Grandstand Handicap, of 80 soys; six furlongs.—(l) Delium, 7.7, 1; (3) Arena, 8.0, 2; (4) Arrowmid, 7.12, 3. Four started. A nose; two lengths. Time—l.ls 2-5.
