PLOT TO KILL KING GEORGE?
Scotland Yard Hold Man; Knife And Map Found In Raid
[United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright. 3 (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, March 20. The “Sunday Referee” says that a suspected plot to assassinate King- George on Coronation day is believed to have been discovered by Scotland Yard officers, who raided a house in a suburb. The paper states that the officers found a throwing-knife and a map of the route wrapped together, besides a number of letters and notes and over 100 newspaper cuttings giving details of the procession and the position of the Royal carriage, with the time? of passing various points.. A man is said to be under-examina-tion, and his recent movements are being traced.
