Fine gold is quoted today at £7 2/4| an ounce, compared with £7 2/4 yesterday and £7 2/4 on Thursday. Silver was quoted yesterday at 203 d an ounce spot and forward, compared with 20 7-Bd, both positions, on Thursday. The quotation for silver at per fine ounce is 22 3-Bd, compared with 22id on Thursday.
