KERIKERI
An Okaihau team defeated the Kerikeri B team for the Grace Cup No. 2 on the Kerikeri tennis courts on Sunday. The games were evenly contested.
To mark the appreciation of the courteous and efficient service that Mrs A. Birchall, the retiring postmistress, had rendered to Kerikeri, residents of the district gathered at the tennis courts to make a presentation of a teaservice and cheque. Among those present were Captain and Mrs Edkins, Misses Kemp, Mr and Mrs Cresswel], Mr and Mrs R. T. Waters. Mr and Mrs Kiernander, Mr and Mrs A. Greig. Mr and Mrs Ainsworth, Mr and Mrs Taylor, Mr and Mrs Cleave, Mr and Mrs Marples, Mr and Mrs Olliver, Mr and Mrs Bates, Mr and Mrs Drake. Mr and Mrs Tomlinson, Misses Rains, J. Lyness, Bennett, R. Ainsworth. E. Bates, Vaughan, Hyde. Cleave, Messrs. Duncan. Lyness. Eames. O'Carroll. Ward, Patten, Young, Waterhouse. Macmanaway. Bates, Ritchie, Thompson, Goodsen.
