PARAKAO

SCHOOL, CONCERT AND DANCE.

The Parakao School concert, held in the hall last Friday night, was well patronised, and proved a great success. It was a high standard of entertainment that was provided, and much credit is due to the teachers, Mr L. McNabb and Miss Van Houtte, for their successful efforts in training the children to such perfection. An abundance of interest and enthusiasm were taken by the children in their various parts, which assisted greatly to make the concert successful. Assistance was also freely given by the parents. The costumes were both original and pretty and lent much colour and tone to the proceedings. Mrs L. McNabb and Miss Van Houtte were the recipients of bouquets from the school children.
