GERMAN-JAP. ANTI-RED AGREEMENT

Questioned in the House of Commons regarding the agreement signed at Berlin by representatives of the German and Japanese Governments against Communists, Mr Eden, Foreign Secretary, said the text was communfcated shortly before its publication to the British Ambassadors in Berlin and Tokyo.
The German Foreign Minister, Baron von Neurath, had assured the Ambassador at Berlin that there was no military or other alliance between Germany and Japan, and the Japanese Foreign Minister stated that -there was no secret treaty.at ail. He had no information tEsff Italy had entered a similar agreement with Japan.
