ENGLAND WAS IN WINNING POSITION

The cricket match at Brisbane between England and Queensland ended today in a drew. The visitors had made a first innings total of 215, and in reply Queensland had scored 243. When stumps were drawn yesterday England had made 453 for three wickets in the second innings, which was closed at the luncheon adjournment today with the score of 528 for the loss of eight wickets.
