Sir—l desire to suggest that Whangarei take advantage of the forthcoming visit of Miss Jean Batten to invite her to turn the first sod of the aerodrome which it has been decided to establish at Onerahi. This would be at one and the same time a gesture of appreciation of the noted airwoman and afford an opportunity to make the inauguration of the aerodrome a real gala day in the district.
