MAORIS SENTENCED
BREAKING AND ENTERING AT RAWENE [Special to "Northern. Advocate AUCKLAND, This Day. Two Maoris, with records in crime, Richard de Thierry and Joe Herbert, alias Adams, who had admitted in the Police Court at Rawene breaking and entering a shop at night, and stealing drapery valued at £3O and then setting fire to the building, were sentenced to four years’ imprisonment, by Mr. Justice Fair this morning.
