CRICKET CHAMPIONSHIP
RESUMPTION TOMORROW
A start on the second round of the Whangarei cricket championship, postponed from last week, will ’ be made tomorrow.
With G. L. Weir back, Combined Set vices are expected to fully extend the leaders, Nomads, and this match at the Reclamation Ground should have a very big bearing on the desination of the shield.
The other game at headquarters will be between Old Boys and Maungakaramea. Whangarei travel to Onerdiu, and High School will meet High School at the turf on the school ground. The second round of the junior championship will also engage eight clubs.
The following players will represent Albion: H. Findlay, F. Colo, Alderton, Leatherby, Ross, McEwan, H. Madden, L. Madden, R. Hilton, Penney and Wilson.
